Meet the Crew

Sanchez
I started my career with vehicles back in 2014 doing window tinting afterwork for a few friends. Shortly after I joined the military, with hopes to not only better myself as a person, but to also learn teamwork, leadership and effectiveness! I landed a dream job working in a tint shop shortly after and spent the next 2 years dedicating each day to learning as much as possible! I invested every dollar from the military into “A2D” which at this point was a mobile detail service. Fast forward three years later, of which two spent working for myself tinting full-time, and one overseas with the Army. Every free second I had I was growing, developing, researching this industry. To not only open my own shop, but to bust the door wide open in the area. Currently A2D has grown faster than expected and the team and I have converted our shop into a complete automotive restyling resource here in Tupelo, MS!

My passion for customization started back in 2004 with Need for Speed: Underground 2. I never raced; I just sat around for hours customizing cars. Here at A2D, I like to help individuals mold their thoughts into tangible projects! Outside of work, you’ll probably catch me buying Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream or parked alongside a few other modded cars in an empty parking lot. Check out this page to see what else the homies and I get into: @tupelow.official.

Q&A
The percentage labeled on window film refers to the amount of light allowed to pass through. i.e 20% tint will BLOCK 80% of light passing through.
In the state of Mississippi, a vehicle can have any non-reflective tint ABOVE
the AS-1 line on the windshield. The front passenger/driver windows must allow 28% of light through. The back portion of the vehicle(back driver/
passenger, rear quarters, rear windshield, etc) can be of any darkness.
In accordance with Mississippi regulations, it is ILLEGAL to have any form of window film below the AS-1 line, however, windshield tint is available in a limited range of percentages.
Pricing for vinyl wrapping an entire vehicle is dependent upon many factors. i.e. Size of vehicle, finish/color of vinyl chosen(some finishes/colors/patterns are more expensive than others), brand of material chosen, etc. On average, most full color change wraps start around $3,000-$4,000. This price fluctuates higher or lower dependent on those factors.
Window tint for a vehicle also is dependent on many factors. i.e. Size of the
vehicle/windows, the amount of windows needing tinted, Ceramic vs Carbon, etc. Example: A sedan getting the sides/back glass tinted in carbon film starts at $250.
Wait time is dependent on the service requested. For most color change wraps, we request 7-10 days. For an average tint job on a vehicle, the turnaround time is typically same day(usually within several hours time).
Most definitely. Majority of Trucks/SUVs come out of the factory with Privacy Glass on the back half. This isn’t actually film on the window, it is the glass itself darkened. Most windshields/front windows should read 70%. To match the privacy glass, 20% tint is typically used. However, percentages can be double checked with a tint meter.
Most vinyl wraps last an average of 5 to 7 years. This mainly depends on the quality of the install. Other factors that will affect this time include: exposure to elements and user caretaking of the wrap(washing correctly, using proper chemicals, etc.).
Carbon film: More basic film. Provides privacy.
Ceramic film: Thicker. Higher quality. Reduces UV Radiation. Rejects heat.
Provides privacy.
Both come with a lifetime warranty
PPF is a clear material that is designed to do as it is titled. It protects paint from most light damages that occur daily. Minor scratches, rock chips, swirl marks, etc. It comes with a 10 year warranty. It is replaceable of damaged, dirtied, faded, etc. Once removed, the paint beneath should be near identical to the day it was put on.
No. PPF is a solid material that is cut to fit your vehicle. Think of it as a clear vinyl wrap(just self healing and more protective). Ceramic coating is a liquid that is applicable to paint, PPF, and vinyl wrap. Once cured, this liquid essentially creates a very thin layer of glass on all surfaces applied. In turn, it prevents hard water spots, creates ease of cleaning, and can protect against VERY minor blemishes.
